We recently received a 'surprise' bag of bulbs to plant in the garden and watch grow. You might know Sienna is a big fan of the egg surprise craze at the moment and also loves to be outside, so this project seemed perfect for her!
The project is in collaboration with Spalding bulb, who want to encourage kids to have more interest in gardening. The way the project works should encourage a sense of responsibility and pride knowing they have helped plant them and helped something grow.
We are going to plant our bulbs tomorrow in a pot in the garden and look after them until they start to grow. I know Sienna will have fun planting them as she loss anything messy and she of course loves the whole 'surprise' element of not knowing what they are. We will have to try and guess when they grow!
