Wedding make-up inspiration + products!

Now that I have my dress and know what style it is, I feel like I can think about what type of make-up I want. I feel like 'bridal prep' has began already... I have started wearing my retainer again at night as since my braces came off I haven't worn them that much and feel like they are moving.. eek! I do have a wire permanently on the back of my front teeth a bit like the incongnito lite treatment but hopefully wearing my retainer will help even further. Anyway back on to the exciting bit.. make-up!

ONE // The top left is a pretty standard bridal look I feel.. gold, smokey eyes with false lashes, pinky cheeks and quite nude glossy lips. I really love this look however I feel like if I do my own make-up it may be hard to achieve. My eye make-up has never looked that good! I better get practising!

TWO // The bottom left is similar but a bit more subtle. The eyes aren't as dark across the lids, only in the corner and the lashes aren't as full, again it just focuses on the outer corner. The cheeks are a bit peachy and the lips are a bit of a stronger peach colour too. I really love this look too and I think it would suit our Autumn wedding well!

THREE // The third look is a classic red lip which I do feel really suits me when I have a bit of a tan and my dark hair. However, I don't know if it's a bit 'high maintenance' for my wedding day and if it will date a bit more. I don't want to look back in 20 years and not like it.

I have already been keeping a list of products I think I may want to use or buy for the big day. These 2 Estee Lauder products have been put to the test and are high up on the list.
The DayWear BB Creme is a gorgeous constancy and instantly evens out my skin tone and conceals any redness I have in my skin. It also adds the moistures my skin needs but is oil-free so I don't end up shiny. What I love most about it is actually the shade! I normally find most foundations too pink for my skin tone when I have tanned but this matches perfectly which is obviously important for the big day! I don't want to have a different coloured face compared to my neck.. the only thing I'm worried about is the SPF 35 might give too much flashback in the photographs.

If I do go for a darker/red lip. This Pure colour lipstick in 'Emotional' would be gorgeous! It's such a great texture, gives a gorgeous sheen but also stays put. The colour is just perfect, a deep burgundy/berry colour but still bright enough to add radiance to the face. It would also fit perfectly with our colour scheme.. hint hint ;)

I've also been trying to keep my Smashbox full exposure palette untouched as it's the perfect neutral bridal palette I think! It's so pretty though I have been using it lately, so I may have to purchase another one leading up to the wedding!
