REN Evercalm Anti-redness Serum

REN's best selling Evercalm range is perfect for those with sensitive skin as it avoids detrimental ingredients and helps protect against environmental pollution. It is formulated with a range of bio actives that calm, strengthen and essential 'train' the skin to be less sensitive and react. When I read this, it sounded perfect to me and I couldn't wait to try the Anti-Redness Serum*.

As my skin is so sensitive, something I really suffer with is redness. If I get even a hint of a spot, it is bright red and hard to cover with even the best concealers, making a bad breakout even worse which is why I went for this product.

It is a serum so is to be used under moisturisers day and night, it also tackles ageing as well as sensitivity which is a big plus. I am concerned about ageing now but do find most 'anti-ageing' products far too strong for my skin. This one is brilliant, it's a gorgeous consistency and smells divine too! It sinks into the skin beautifully and I can instantly feel my skin drink it up and feel more soft, supple and look generally better all round. I tend to use mine just at nighttime as I don't find it a good base for my make-up in the day as I have oily skin. When I wake up, my skin looks refreshed, plump and the redness has definitely improved. It also helps heal/soothe blemishes when I am having a break out or irritation to something.

The results overtime are said to help reduce irritation and redness, strengthen the capillary walls, boost cell lifespan and hydration levels, protect the cells and support good bacteria and keep the skin looking young. That is a big list to live up to but I can say that I think it does live up to most of them. Since using this my skin hasn't reacted as badly to different products or cosmetics which has been so nice! I can't wait to see the results of this long term, I think it will be a staple in my nighttime skincare routine from now on!

Have you tried this? What do you think?
