A good night's sleep?

A good nights sleep is something I think a lot of people strive for, especially parents. We have been lucky with the fact that Sienna has pretty much slept through the night since about 12 weeks old. She goes to bed at 6:30 most nights and sleeps until around 7am, we tend to head to bed around 10pm. With that being said you would think we get loads of sleep and wake up feeling refreshed everyday wouldn't you?

Wrong.

No matter how much sleep I get, I never wake up feeling refreshed. It takes me ages to get sleep and then once I do get to sleep I feel like it isn't 'good' sleep, I can never get comfortable. Web-Blinds have put together this Good Nights Sleep Guide and whilst reading through it I realised it is probably quality over quantity and there are a few things we could do to try and help. Web-Blinds armed me with £50 to get anything I wanted that I thought would help us get a better nights sleep.

After using the sleep guide as guidance, we went for some new memory foam pillows and a new duvet. We try and do a lot of things already from the sleep guide such as eating right, exercising and using lavender fragrance however, I can't remember the last time we bought pillows or a duvet. Even though I wake up most mornings with a stiff neck and headache, it never occurred to me it could be flat, old pillows. These Silent night memory foam pillows are amazing. As if getting into bed isn't already the nicest feeling in the world, these really make you feel like you are sleep on clouds. The duvet also really helps as it is a lower tog so we don't get so hot. This has really helped improve our sleeping environment and the quality of sleep we get, at last!
