The party season is nearly in full swing and it's time to think about getting yourself looking your best. I have been trying out these items above to see if they fit the bill!
Of course my number one must have for any night out is a bit of tan! I was kindly sent the Sienna X express tanning mist by The Salon Look. They are an online e-commerce that offer the latest luxury beauty products and it runs alongside a chain of salons called 'Love The Salon'. As I hadn't tried any of Sienna X before, I thought it would be a good thing to review for you lot. Applying it was quick, I love the 360 degree nozzle that allows you to spray holding the can at funny angles, although I did still find it difficult doing my back as I still like to rub it in with my hands. This is only personal preference though and is something that happens with any tan! It went on streak free and was easy to work in compared to some other tans I have used. I wasn't put off by the smell however, I don't think you can ever get away from that biscuity fake tan smell no matter what tan you use, it always develops at some point. The colour it gave was lovely, not the darkest but I don't like being too dark in the winter anyway, I like to look natural but still sun kissed. Thumbs up from me! Next up, nails! I think gorgeous nails always stand out even if you have a plain, casual outfit on so I always make an effort with them for any special occasion. I have actually been taking Colladeen Visage advanced formula for skin. Yes, skin. So why are they under my nails category? Well, apparently Nadine Baggot, Beauty Editor recommends them for helping your nails be in their best condition as well as your skin. I couldn't pass them up after hearing that, I was intrigued to see if they worked as my nails are forever breaking, weak and peeling. After a good couple weeks of taking these I can definitely tell my nails are strong and not peeling anymore. They have a little length and I am sure by NYE they will be much longer. If you want better nails too, you can purchase them at Natures Best.
Of course, great nails need great colours. This Mavala Collection includes the 3 winners from the That's My Colour Campaign. Glowing skin has to be the one thing all women want, especially in the colder months.
