I don't know if I was expecting too much however I love the Little Tikes toy range so much I had high hopes for these products, especially the cup holder.
Let's start with the Cup Holder as it was the product I was most disappointed in. With me being a big coffee and green tea drinker, I was looking forward to finally being able to take my ho drinks with me when we walk, instead of gulping them down and burning my mouth or leaving them half drunk and by the time we return, stone cold.
When I received the cup holder, I immediately tried to attach it before walking to the shops with Sienna. With 10 minutes gone and no progress, I figured maybe I should try and do it when I had more time and wasn't rushing out the door. So I left it until another day. Trying again, I was determined to attach it but still to no avail.
It claims it is a universal fit, easy to attach and remove and 'self-leveling'. None of these things did I find to be true, I'm not sure if it's me or the stroller we have but somewhere along the line, it is not working, surely it can't be that hard? The cup holder just hangs, no way could I transport a drink in it! I am very disappointed but I will try to fathom it and hope we get there in the end.
The Kick Mat is getting a better review, although I did expect it to be a little sturdier/thicker material than what it is. On the plus side, that means it is washable and waterproof. It prevents scuffs and scratches to the back of the seat; Sienna isn't big enough to reach the seat yet but I am sure when she is this will be very useful. It's easy to clip on and the pocket will be handy again when she is older, at the moment we don't have a lot of use for them as she can't reach it and everything else is stored in her changing bag. I would say these are a must have for older children though, especially on long journeys!
So today is an unusual slightly negative review from me, but I always promise to tell the truth, so there it is!
