Pregnancy | 27 weeks & 2nd trimester must haves!

How far along? 27 weeks!!

Total weight gain/measurements: I don't weigh myself!
Maternity clothes: Still in the same ones, no new ones yet!
Stretch marks? No new ones still thankfully! I am applying oil most nights when I remember.
Best moment this week: Seeing our baby girl in our 4d scan! So amazing!!
Miss anything? Being able to walk without being sore! My pelvis is suffering a bit!
Movement: All the time! Rolls and kicks! They are starting to get a bit uncomfortable though as her big ones are BIG and stretch my stomach haha!
Food cravings: This week it's been roasted begins, so weird!! haha
Anything making you queasy or sick? I have started to feel a bit sick after my breakfast but then it turns into heartburn and I reach for the Gaviscon. It makes no difference what I have for breakfast either.
Gender: GIRL!!!

Labour signs: Nope!
Symptoms: The heartburn, sickyness and pelvis pain but nothing is major!
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? Engagement ring on
Happy or moody most of the time? A bit snappy and moody this week to be honest, the tiredness and soreness have been getting to me a bit!
Looking forward to: Christmas with a big bump and an excuse to eat everything ;)

As I'm creeping up to the third trimester (crazy!) I thought it was time to share my second trimester must haves too. These things have really made the second trimester easier and more enjoyable for me so that is why they are included!

second trimester must haves

First up.. maternity wear. I have been living in my maternity jeans, particularly my Skinny ripped jeans from Seraphine. The over the bump band is so comfortable and I love how they still look stylish unlike a lot of maternity jeans.

I was also sent a few bits from byStroom and they have been great now my bump is well and truly showing! I have the Naomi tunic in blue (which is also a nursing top for after you've had baby) and is so floaty over the bump it's really comfortable and easy to wear. I also have the Prisca nursing dress which I love! It's a basic black dress so can be dressed up or down and again is so comfy and easy to wear. It has  a knotted detail on the front which adds a bit of interest and makes it more flattering. This is also perfect for once baby arrives for nursing so I will definitely get my wear out of them.

I've also been wearing my Hotmilk lingerie bra non stop too.. I find it has given me more support and shape in the second trimester (now my boobs are huge) compared to my Cantaloop bra that I featured in my first trimester must haves.

I've also been better at a plying stretch mark cream now my bump is bigger as I feel like they will appear any day now! Heartburn has also well and truly kicked in so I have been drinking Gaviscon from the bottle! I think I will have to start carrying it around in my bag it's that bad!

Lastly, I wanted to mention workouts. I have had to stop them now due to nerve pain in my bum and shoulder but when I was doing them a few weeks ago, I found they really helped warm up my joints and actually got some energy flowing! I'm annoyed I've had to stop but I am still making sure I walk Piper when I can and obviously still chasing after Sienna 24/7 so that is keeping me active!
