Another update on the wedding.. the flowers! We have decided to use the in house florist at our wedding venue. Her flower displays in the venue look amazing and she has really reasonable prices as well as she is actually retired, she just does a little bit for fun now with the venue instead of full time.
We have hired our whole venue for the wedding and within that price, we get 2 flower displays for the entrance which is fab so we only need to get my bouquet, centrepieces, button holes and the bridesmaid/flower girls wand or bouquets. As the house is so beautifully decorated we don't really need any flowers anywhere else, it would look a bit too much.
Too cut the cost down a bit more, I have gone from tall centrepieces to just small centrepieces but I still think they will look lovely! I think I'm going for gold vases and jugs similar to the above pictures and this is exactly how I want the flowers too as our colours are peach and burgundy! I am so in love with this bouquet, I hope I can get mine to look the same!
The only other flowers we might need is flowers as gifts to say thank you to my mum and bridesmaids etc but I would get the flowers delivered rather than something done by the florist. You can get them in vases or boxes they make a nice gift than a regular bunch of flowers.
We're nearly only a year away from the wedding which with a new baby in-between, is going to come round so fast!
