Notes on Nutrition - random shots

I have decided to stop doing the videos on YouTube of what we eat and instead do these kind of posts. I just find it easier this way and it's a lot less work for me! I hope you enjoy them and get some ideas from them. I am really big on nutrition but I have self taught from lots of researching so I'm not an expert but it works for me.

I try to eat clean most of the time and make a lot of things from scratch, I just generally feel better if I'm not loading my body with lots of crap and I think it's important to be healthy. However I'm not too strict on myself, life is too short to not indulge in a doughnut or a slab of dairy milk every now and then!

I don't ever count calories, even if I'm trying to lose a few pounds, I just watch my portion sizes and eat everything in moderation. I also try to balance it out, if I know I'm really wanting chocolate or a Chinese takeaway, I will have it but just eat clean and sensibly the rest of the day so I don't feel guilty or undo all my hard work.

A go-to lunch for me, an egg scramble. I think this one had mushroom & red pepper in but it varies all the time, depending on what I have in the fridge.

I love grape nuts! One of the most nutritional cereals there is... a healthier alternative to sugar laden granola.

Bolognese with 'courgetti'. This was my first time trying it as I'm not  huge fan of courgette but actually it was delicious! A brilliant way to cut down on some carbs.

A Innocent green juice to try and ward off my cold!

Tone It Up's Lemon pepper salmon with spinach sauté.. it was absolutely delicious. I normally have all of these things in the fridge anyway so I will definitely be making this again!
