For the festive season, we were kindly sent some crafty bits to do from Baker Ross which I was glad about, as occupying Sienna these days takes a lot.. she is constantly the go and asking for 'something fun' to do.
Well, these definitely hit the fun button, Sienna was very excited to see her table full of glittery card, googly eyes and sticky gingerbread men and she got stuck in. We did the Gingerbread house magnet kit first and I'm so pleased with how it turned out, it was easy for Sienna to do herself, sticking everything on (although she had a little help doing the photo and magnets) and it looks really good! We didn't have any up to date photos so we had to use one of her when she was younger but it still looks great I think and these would make perfect gifts to family from toddlers.
Next we did some of the baubles cards which we got a bit carried away with.. we forgot to take any snaps of our process but we did get one of the finished cards.. how fab do they look! Again Sienna had a little help from me (I did the squiggles of glitter glue) but other than that, it was all her. I think they're so cute! I did try to explain that all the sticky things were to make more gingerbread houses but she wasn't having any of it so I let her use them for the cards.. I guess there is no rules when it comes to crafting and toddlers!
