Flora Buttery’s Halloween Creepy Crate!

For the half term week leading up to Halloween, we were very kindly sent a creepy crate from Flora Buttery. Inside were lots of activities and recipes to keep us busy all in the theme of halloween! It was such a fun package Sienna couldn't wait to get started. The first thing we did was make the jelly worms as they looked relatively simple yet effective.

Sienna could really get involved and as it was easy and didn't take too long, it kept her attention span.. that's always a good thing! We mixed the red and green jelly together to make orange/brown worms and we were impressed with how they turned out, I think they look great!

Sienna also thought they tasted much better than real worms ;) Sorry for the dirty face haha!

Along side those we also did some baking using the Flora Buttery. We made the pumpkin cookies & the pumpkin and orange cupcakes (although we left out the orange as we are allergic.. they still tasted delicious though!) Both tasted absolutely delicious, I had to take some round to my Mum's so we didn't eat them all!

We also carved our pumpkins, we have never done it before but it was really fun, hopefully we will get better at it each year ;)

Thanks Flora for making Sienna's first Halloween even more fun! :)

Hope you all had a great Halloween!
