When it comes to fake tan I always opt for a mousse as I find them the easiest and quickest to apply. When I got the chance to try out the Vita Liberata NKD SKN tinted tan mousse I was really excited. I have used Vita Liberata before but this is a new collection that claims to instantly bronze you with no patching or streaking and no telltale smell.

When I first started applying it I was thinking it was a lot darker than any other 'medium' tan I had used before, I was fine with that though as I do like to have a noticeable difference when I tan. It was easy to apply and blend and dried extremely fast which I'm a big fan of. You have to work fast but at least you aren't tacky for ages afterwards-that's one of my pet hates with a tan. I also was pleasantly surprised that there was no strong scent of fake tan while I applied it. I went to bed looking like a bronzed goddess!

When I woke up, I was impressed with the colour but I had to shower and wash it off. I found this is where most of the colour came off. When I got out, I was still streak free but it had definitely faded to more of a sun kissed glow rather than a bronze tan.

In comparison, it's very similar to my favourite tan Cocoa Brown in terms of how fast it dries and how easy it is to apply without streaking. I'd say it's probably a bit lighter in colour than the Cocoa Brown so overall I'm quite impressed but I do think I need the dark version.
