We received our August Degustabox a while a go and have been enjoying all the products inside. We received a great range of things from drinks to baking bits and croissants and brands such as Mexican Dave's, Berry White, Schwartz, Caribbean Twist, Lindt, Cawston Press, Brioche Pasquier, Dr Oetker and MOMA.
The croissants and pains au lait from Brioche Pasquier were delicious and made a nice for breakfast for us either on their own or with some jam. I even gave Sienna the pains au lait for some of her lunches with a savoury filling and she loved them. She also loved the Cawston Press apple and pear carton, I will have to stock up for the occasional treat.
The BerryWhite peach & goji berry organic drink was something I was really eager to try and I loved it! I will definitely look out for this brand in the future. Warren really enjoyed it too, they would be great for his lunch box for work to make a change from his usual squash!
I did try the ginger beer when I was pregnant and nauseous however I found it a bit strong for me but then I'm not normally a fan of ginger anyway.
The only other thing we have tried is the Mexican Dave's tortilla chips and they are yummy. They are nice on their own with guacamole or made into nachos. I love how they aren't too salty as some can be.
Degusta box also started the 'Degusta box fridge' where you get a voucher for another product that you can get for free from the supermarket. Ours was the MOMA! Bircher muesli pack. We haven't picked it up yet but it looks brilliant and will be perfect for a quick breakfast on those busy mornings! The voucher is not included in the value of the box, it is an added extra which is brilliant!
