Back to school

I know Sienna isn't old enough for school yet, in fact, she isn't even at nursery! However, I often think about the days when she will be at school and weigh up the pros and cons for me.

I love being with Sienna everyday but I must admit, all day, everyday is a lot. I know it's a mother's job and all that but sometimes we do need a break. However having said that, I can't imagine being away from her for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week! That will be a big adjustment when she starts primary school!

I'm friends with a lot of mummy bloggers and they all seem to excited for the summer holidays to start; no rushing around, no school runs; just relaxed, fun days as a family. I must admit that I can't wait to plan a load of activities to do throughout the Summer holidays with Sienna and perhaps our second child as well.

Although as with all good things (so they say), they must come to an end and with the 6 week break comes the return to school in September. It seems when they return to school there is so much school organisation to do including new uniforms.

I think the one thing I used to hate is shopping for my new school uniform. It was always a stressful occasion and never went to plan. Luckily, in this day and age we have the wonderful internet to help us out. George at Asda actually has a brilliant 'One Stop School Shop' online that provides everything from uniform, to stationary and lunch boxes. It also has a 100 day satisfaction guarantee which is peace of mind for us mums. It's so easy to use and definitely takes the stress out of the uniform shop, so it's one thing you can cross off your to-do list already!

Do you (and your kids) hate shopping for new school uniforms?!
