Spring Staples from Clinique

Clinique has to be one of my all time favourite brands. With my sensitive, acne prone skin I have spent years using many different brands to try and cure and conceal my skin, yet Clinique always comes out on top. From their skincare to cosmetics, everything is allergy tested and 100% fragrance free which makes my skin (and my heart) happy.

I have always used my Clinique Skincare and Foundation, however, recently I've been trying out more of their make-up range in terms of these fabulous products. Since testing them all out over the past week or so I can safely say they are all staples in my make-up bag for Spring if not all year round!

A primer is the one product that I never use. I have tested a few in my time (GOSH, L'oreal, Benefit) however every single one has broken my out or just not worked with my skin at all. I normally find them too greasy or they ball up under my make-up and leave my skin looking worse, so naturally I was sceptical to try Superprimer Colour Corrects Dullness* however I am totally won over. This smooths out any lumps and bumps on my skin, really does colour correct any dullness and helps my foundation last longer. I find my complexion looks more even, brighter and it doesn't break me out either. I just REALLY love it and can't recommend these enough if you want your skin to look a million times better!

I'm a big fan of coral/orange toned blushers so this New Cheek Pop in 'Ginger pop'* is perfect for me and having the slight coral undertone means it pairs well with a orange or pink lip. All the blushes are just adorable, so pretty with the whole spring flower vibe going on and are in the most gorgeous colours. They look bright but don't come out too pigmented so give a lovely flush to the cheek, that subtle 'pinched' look we're always trying so hard to achieve. They have a touch of fine shimmer, just enough for that daytime glow and I have enjoyed wearing this everyday since having it.

I knew the High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara* was going to be a winner with me as a) I already love the regular High Impact Mascara and b) I love big lashes. This really is an all round great mascara, it lengthens, adds volume and I find the brush a great size; big enough to apply a good amount of product but small enough to not smudge black everywhere.

The New Chubby Stick Intense* are once again, a beautiful product from Clinique. I have the shades 'Heftiest Hibiscus' and 'Roomiest Rose' and they are my go to shades right now. Heftiest Hibiscus is a bright orange shade yet somehow doesn't look overpowering. I love wearing this colour, I just feel it ties in nicely with the blush and my tan and really lifts my whole face. The Roomiest Rose is a gorgeous, intense rosy pink and like all the chubby sticks, gives a good punch of colour as well as hydration to the lips. LOVE!

Wearing the Superprimer, 'Ginger pop' blush, High impact extreme mascara and 'Roomiest Rose' chubby stick intense.

What are your favourite Clinique products? What should I try next?

*I was sent these to review but all opinions are honest and my own.
