I know, I know, I'm at it again! My living room must be the one room that I am always redoing in my head. I do really love the whole moroccan and dark, solid wood furniture however I just think for a house with not much storage, I need to keep things lighter. We need a lot of furniture to act as storage and if it is all dark it will close the space down even more, I can get my 'dark' fix through the accessories still though, hurrah!
Out There Interiors is a website I've heard of in the blogosphere and while on there the other day, I couldn't help but put a wish list together!
I would still keep the dark sofas as we do love them, although I love this chair which would make a great addition in the corner of the room. I'd like to put the TV up on the wall in the middle of the room and then have this gorgeous lighter wood drawer chest beside it. It is so gorgeous and would be big enough to house all our 'stuff', it's lighter than the sheesham wood I love but still looks rustic.
The lamp would also be perfect on top of the drawers and I love the design of it. It is made from a clear perspex so you really get the whole effect of the lamp to help brighten the room, it is modern in it's concept but I love the slightly antique feel of the shape of the legs. For accessories, I am always drawn towards anything that screams storage or organisation so naturally, I love these weave baskets and the metal ones too. This magazine rack also caught my eye as it is so unusual! It's so lovely. Last but not least I adore this clock, it is just my style and we don't actually have a clock in our living room at the moment so would be a great buy.
