Babyzen YoYo

Being a SAHM has made me realise how essential it is so have a pushchair or stroller that is easy to put up and down and light enough for me to carry to the car, along with everything else I require to keep my precious 13 month old happy.

BabyZen YoYo Review

The Babyzen YoYo is a new and innovative design that is everything you need from those heavier, bulkier buggies but in a much more manageable, travel friendly package. This compact buggy is only 5.8kg and comes with a handy bag and shoulder strap for easy carrying.

It folds so small and compact that I really didn't see how a buggy could fit inside. I thought it must be in pieces that I have to fit and hook together whilst wrestling with an excited toddler ready to get in.

How wrong I was, it is hands down the easiest buggy I have ever folded up or down. No hooking, no clipping or pushing and willing it to go down (we've all been there!). It literally springs up and collapses down in a matter of seconds and even clicks itself into place. It can be done one handed if you need too, brilliant!

The wheels have suspension so the ride is smooth and features their 'soft-drive' system; there is no need to lock them into place even on rough terrain. It feels light weight to push and is lovely to steer around. This was even acknowledged by Warren and his Dad so it must be great! It has a small underseat basket on the bottom that can hold unto 2kg for all your essentials when out and about.

The canopy is nice and large which is brilliant for offering some protection, particularly for smaller babies. I normally find they don't reach far enough to give much protection at all but this one is great. It has the small window as well so you can keep an on them which is always handy! The handlebar is really high which is actually more comfortable to push than the lower handles. It is great for taller men as well!

It reclines to 140 degrees and is suitable from 6 months to about 15kg. The seat is nice and wide to grow with your baby and padded to keep them comfortable. The colour packs are bought separate to the frame and available in 5 colours; Black, Blue, Red, Pink and Grey. The fabrics are also removable and washable which is brilliant for everyone involved!

The non-PVC rain cover is included but you can also purchase a parasol, footmuff and cup holder to make this buggy more suitable for any time of year!

The frame itself is available in white or black which is a great choice. I wasn't keen on the white frame at first however it has grown on me and now I prefer it from the black. It's something a little different and makes this buggy really stand out and looks great with all the colour packs.

The Babyzen YoYo would definitely be my number one choice if you are looking for a little everyday buggy, something that is lightweight, easy to use, compact and stylish.
