Save, Spend, Splurge... Christmas hampers!

christmashampers

Until this year, I have always thought of Christmas hampers as a gift for the older generation and not something I would ever consider buying someone for christmas. However, I've been looking around and it seems that hampers can be full of any type of products you like. From cheese, to wine, to beauty and even sweets. Some websites even offer you to build your own which is much more appealing to me! I thought I'd make the save, spend, splurge into a little series as it helpful to all budgets and getting ideas!

My save option is from Tesco, a pretty standard christmas hamper as I think of it including christmas cake and shortbread but with some less traditional bits including jelly beans and Guylian chocolate sea shells. This is a great option for maybe a work colleague as it has a good mix but not too fun.

If you're in the mood to spend a bit more, this Marks & Spencer Indulgent hamper is the way to go. With luxury items including a bottle of Bordeaux, Belgian biscuits and Marc de Champagne truffles, this is sure to be a winner and would be lovely for parents or even the in laws!

This splurge is the family fun hamper from John Lewis and it is exactly that; a fun gift for all the family to enjoy. It has a variety of sweet and savoury treats, a set of crackers, an ice fountain, and even the Uno chocolate edition game for all ages to enjoy. The perfect gift for a special family.

Have you ever bought a christmas hamper? Who for?
