A weekend at Ladram Bay

A couple weekends ago, we set off on a last minute trip away down to Devon; staying at Ladram Bay (gifted). A little cosy, Autumn break was exactly what I needed. The weather wasn't amazing; in fact - we were hit by Storm Callum on the drive down there but we had no plans except be cosy so that was fine to us!

We headed straight to reception to check in and get our key & directions to our holiday home and the staff were super caring and helpful. It was quick process & we found our holiday home within minutes & bundled everyone into the warm.

The holiday home was spacious and clean, yet cosy at the same time. The girls were so excited and set off choosing their room to stay in for the weekend. We chose pet friendly accommodation so we could take Piper on her first holiday & she was even given her own little bowl, such a cute touch!

As it was already getting late, Warren headed to the on site fish and chip shop & got us some dinner. We got a family meal deal and it was so reasonable! We had plenty of food to fill our tummies before settling down the night. The girls slept well considering it was Aria's first time in a bed instead of a cot!

A weekend at Ladram Bay

Saturday was spent exploring - Ladram Bay is right on the coast and is beautiful! It was still a bit cold and windy but much better than the day before & it felt good to blow the cobwebs away after quite a stressful week!

On site, there is a soft play area & amusements where we spent most of the weekend due to the weather but it was lovely. Plenty to keep the girls occupied & sofas for us to rest on with our coffee! The perfect laid back weekend.

In between the showers when the sun broke through, we did get a little play outside. It would be lovely to visit in the Summer when you could really make use of the outside play park above the cliff!

They have the on site Pebbles restaurant that we ate in various times over the weekend and we were really impressed. They had a good varied menu for all of us and it was again reasonable prices like the takeaway.

Both girls said their Sunday roast they had was one of the best they've had & we agreed!

On the Sunday, even though it was bad weather, we decided we had to check out the beach before we left as Roma had never been to the beach before!

It is once again, a beautiful little spot & I can only imagine how nice it would be with better weather next Summer! We absolutely loved our stay at Ladram Bay, it was one of my favourite weekends since having Roma so far & we'd really recommend it as a family & pet friendly place to stay!
