When Roma was just 2 weeks old, we set off on her first little road trip, we were heading to Stow-on-the-wold in the Cotswold for a family wedding. She'd travelled 6 countries while growing inside me but this was our first taster experience of travelling with 3 kids.
Between nappy changes, toilet stops, stopping to stretch Roma from the carseat and feeding her, the 2 hour journey took over SIX! But we all survived and we stopped at some beautiful places on the way which only added to our weekend away. It really is stunning just as everyone told us.
When we arrived at our hotel, we were blown away with how beautiful it was. We stayed at The Porch House which is a 5 star Inn.

We had a family room which had so much room for us and all our bags. The bigger girls shared a sofa bed and we had a massive, super comfortable double bed. To save room in the car, we used Roma's bassinet from her pushchair for her to sleep in but there would have been plenty of room to take a travel cot too.
The best thing about staying in a hotel or doing B&B is the breastfast! It's definitely my favourite meal of the day and as well as this amazing cooked breakfast, there was also a buffet bar of fruit, cereal, toast and pastries! Not to mention endless coffee which is always much needed!
The girls were flower girls at the wedding so looked so beautiful in their dresses! Sienna adored getting ready in the grand venue and Roma wore her first little dress and looked absolutely amazing.
Daddy on duty.. we did spend a lot of the day doing this haha... Aria is asleep in the pushchair!
The day was amazing yet tiring with a little 2 week old and 2 other kids but it felt like our first big accomplishment & I'm glad we were able to make it. We stayed out until 10;30pm which I thought was quite impressive too ;) The girls were loving the dance floor!
The next morning we packed up our bomb site of a room & checked out ready for the mammoth drive home! It was a great taster of travelling with the 3 and now we're a month or so down the line I am ready for another weekend away with my 3 little beauties (and my husband!) and to start making more travel plans for the future!
