My chickenpox survival kit! (AD)

Can you believe I've made it through 6 years of being a parent and yet I've never experienced the dreaded chickenpox?! In fact, my mum can't even recall me having chicken pox as a child so I really dread when the girls do get it as I'm not sure I'll get away unscathed, especially if all three girls get it at the same time!

I'm working with Care Virasoothe so when the time comes I am fully prepared. I have learnt a few tips along the way from other mums when they've been dealing with it & one thing I know is that even though chickenpox is itchy, itching it can be dangerous and lead to infection.

In my 'chickenpox survival kit' is Care Virasoothe Chickenpox Relief Gel which can help relieve the irritating symptoms, it helps to cool and relieve itching. It can be easily applied all over the body and face and is suitable for children over 6 months of age so should be perfect for all my girls as long as they don't catch it in the next few months!

Also in my survival kit is:

- Mike has chicken-pox book to read them,
- Colour with me, Mum colouring book,
- 'Stay hydrated bottle,
- Bamboo wash cloths,
- New bath toy,
- Relax candle.

Chickenpox is highly contagious so we will be indoors a lot so the book & colouring book will be used a lot I'm sure! I've also heard cold baths or oat baths are good at soothing the itchy skin, the bamboo wash cloths will be gentle on the skin and not catch any scabs & the new toy will just keep them occupied if we're in the bath a lot! Staying hydrated is key as well as is me relaxing when they're in bed ;)

Care Virasoothe have an online hub on their website HERE for more information and advice on dealing with chickenpox. The Care Virasoothe range is available to buy from supermarkets nationwide and online at Boots, Sainsbury's, Lloyds pharmacy and Amazon.

Do you have anymore tips you can throw at me?!
