After we had finished at Mottisfont National Trust last month, we headed to New Place Hotel for our nights stay in Southhampton which was very lovely indeed!
As we spent most of the day out, we arrived around 4pm and with this winter weather it was already getting dark by the time we checked in and explored our room. After we were a little settled we did have a little explore in the cold, all the warm lights looked so cosy, it looked beautiful!
We checked out the bar for a little drink, the decor was perfection as was the fireplace! The staff were also really good, especially with the kids. They said it was kid friendly and really made an effort to interact and make the kids laugh which is always a plus point!
We went back to the hotel room to get room service; it's our absolute treat when we're away. We all love it as we get to eat dinner in bed all cosy, there is nothing better! We were starving after walking around all day so we did go a bit overboard, woops! It was all delicious though, so good!!
Breakfast was equally delicious, this place reminded us of our wedding venue alot!
After breakfast, we headed to Marwell Zoo for the day! I was excited as Aria loves animals yet somehow we have never taken her to the zoo before!
The zoo was much bigger than we anticipated and we had no problem entertaining ourselves for the whole day, In fact, there were somethings we didn't even get to do!
The girls loved seeing the animals and learning new things about them.
