5 reasons we'll be back to Haynes Motor Museum...

During the October at half term, we decided to take a trip to Haynes Motor Museum to see what the Halloween activities were like. We see it advertised every year yet have never made it in there, despite it being about 5 minutes down the road from us! Instead of a step by step account I thought I'd do a '5 reasons we'll be back' as we really loved it and couldn't believe we had never been!

1. Our entry got us an annual pass
As we were able to pay gift aid on top of our entry tickets, the receptionist told us that then those tickets enabled us to come back as many times as we wanted for 1 year just like an annual pass. It made the slightly steep £30 fee to get in justifiable!

2. The amazing outdoor play area
We honestly didn't expect much from the 'play area' at the museum but honestly it is probably the best outdoor area we have near us. There are cars, fire engines, slides, climbing frames and various role play areas. The girls absolutely loved it and in the spring/summer I can imagine we will spend so much time there.

3. The indoor soft play
I feel like we are always choosing the park or the soft play but this combines the two which is perfect and will be great when you get those April showers in Spring! It's only a small soft play and might be quite manic when and if it gets busy but we went on a Friday of half term and were the only people there!

4. The cafe
The cafe there is spacious, bright and homely, we grabbed some drinks and snacks which were reasonably priced and it seemed they had a good range of food too!

5. Outdoor seating area
The outdoor seating area was also a generous size with lovely rattan furniture. There's also a little grass area and is kid friendly too with a giant connect four game for them to play with. An added bonus for us is that dogs are allowed on site (but not inside the museum) so we could potentially bring Piper for a little day out in the gardens too!
