Vienna - Do's and Don'ts!

Vienna is one of the most wonderful European capitals where the historical architecture is maintained in all the beauty, as well as the fairytale spirit of the ancient city. And as every city, the Austrian capital has its own advantages and disadvantages, especially if you have only several days to spend there. To make your travels memorable, there is a short list of things that I suggest doing (and not doing!)

You should definitely try to:
-Walk across the first district of the city, enjoying a wonderful atmosphere;
-Visit the main building of Universität Wien and find yourself to be in Hogwarts;
-Drink a cup of “coffee with a view” in Dachboden from the 25hours Hotel at Museums Quartier;
-Walk down the streets of Vienna, especially down Ringstraße street,
-Visit the Museum Quarter and enjoy refreshing Aperol Spritz in the summer;
-Drink mulled wine or punch near Karlskirche in the winter;
-Go to Kahlenberg and enjoy the exciting view of Vienna (perhaps with a new friend from Maria Dating
-Go shopping on the Mariahilferstraße street on Saturday
-Visit the campus of WU – Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien and feel like a hero of "Star Trek"
-Ride bicycles along the Danube.

Things not to do:
-Take the gloominess of local residents personally - it's a tradition to remain indignant. This attitude is a part of the monarchical mentality
-Go out without Quando: the program calculates the travel time from point A to point B and offers possible transport links.
-Go without a public transport pass if you don’t want to pay a fine of 103 euros.
-Walk on bicycle paths
-Go out without an umbrella in the spring and fall.
-Leave the hotel booking for the last day.
-Feed pigeons on the street unless you want to pay a fine of 36 euros!
