living arrows 5/52 - cooking up a storm

This year, I've decided to join the Living Arrows linky over on Donna's blog. She says Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky".

I take so many photo of the girls but I never really blog about them so I thought taking part in a linky would give me more inspiration to do so. I'll be sharing a photo or two of the girls, capturing a moment of childhood. I'm going to try and get 'candid' photos, not them just sat down next to each other trying to smile at the camera. I'm going to try and take them at different places too so it's more interesting and can act as a memory of what we did through this year.

These photos were from the girls playing in Sienna's room the other day while I was trying to organise the house a little bit more. Some days they play nicely & other days Sienna isn't quite so into sharing HER toys in HER room with her baby sister. They started off playing nicely but then there was a bit of arguing over who was playing with what baby. Sienna wanted all 6 of them in her tea party! I think I will get Aria her own for her birthday ;)

It's only when I see my girls next to each other I realise the age gap. Sienna is looking so big now although I must admit, Aria is catching up! She is not the tiny baby she was, she will soon be my little toddler & the baby days will be behind us a distant blur of cuddles & coffee ;)
