This year, I've decided to join the Living Arrows linky over on Donna's blog. She says "Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky".
I take so many photo of the girls but I never really blog about them so I thought taking part in a linky would give me more inspiration to do so. I'll be sharing a photo or two of the girls, capturing a moment of childhood. I'm going to try and get 'candid' photos, not them just sat down next to each other trying to smile at the camera. I'm going to try and take them at different places too so it's more interesting and can act as a memory of what we did through this year.
These photos are from the other morning. Sienna is so into books and Aria has just started taking an interest too which I'm so glad about as I think books are so important for kids and help them learn. Sienna got this book all about the body for Christmas and she's become obsessed with it. She is always reading it & looking at it and wanting to learn more.
They were sat in the kitchen looking at it while I was making pancakes and it was so lovely to see. Sienna was pointing things out and Aria looked interested, although I'm sure she was just waiting for a chance to rip the pop-up flaps off as that what she likes best about this book ;) haha! I kept hearing Sienna say.. 'Ok Aria now we are going to learn about the bones & muscles, you have a bone in your arm here'.. she's such a good teacher haha, Aria is going to be as clever as Sienna with all this teaching :)
