Christmas 2016

We had a lovely break over Christmas with the girls, it was so special being that it was Aria's first Christmas. First Christmas' are so special, I don't know why but I love having a baby at Christmas and them seeing all the traditions and decorations for the first time.

We had a lovely day just at home. The girls had their Christmas eve box in the morning and we did the crafty bits from that all day, although we did pop out for a yummy breakfast first to fill our bellies before all that hard work ;) We painted baubles, made gingerbread cookies, watch the Christmas DVD and listened to lots of Christmas music to get us in the festive mood.

The girls used their Christmas pudding bath bomb in the bath and we got them all nice and clean and in their Christmas pjs! They came down to leave all Santa's treats & spread the reindeer food outside! It was very exciting, Aria didn't really know what was going on but was excited to be up late and seemed to be wondering what we were doing, haha!

They both went to bed so well. We didn't hear a peep form them until Sienna woke me at 5:21am saying she had a stocking and could she open it! We tried to ask her to go back to bed for a little bit but understood she was too excited so we let her open it on our bed. We left Aria sleeping and she woke a bit later to join in.

She really 'gets' opening presents already so was having fun trying to rip them! We went downstairs about 7ish and made the girls a fruit Santa for breakfast and then started opening all the presents. They were totally spoilt!

Warren cooked Christmas lunch which was delicious and we just spent the rest of the day eating, playing with toys and spending time with family. It was so lovely at just how Christmas should be!

We hope you had a lovely Christmas too & have a lovely New Year! What are your plans?
