Now the wedding is done and dusted, we are focusing a bit more on the house. We do rent it so we can't do anything too drastic but I want to figure out some better storage, declutter and add a bit more decor to the walls and just generally update things.
I have already started on little bits.. I have added this little shelf that I got from B&M to be able to display some ornaments and these wooden letters from our wedding. Although no matter how much I try I can't get my photos to hang straight so I've given up!
I really want to create a cosy atmosphere.. lots of cushions, throws, fairy lights..
I am also thinking about changing our sofas. I absolutely love them although cream and gold fabric sofas are just not suitable for having kids and a dog! I have been leaning towards a leather sofa from Fishpools.. We had a leather sofa at our previous house and it was so easy to just wipe up spills and messes. and pen marks. and sick... and so on!
I love they grey and white theme that is in at the moment as well and the star prints. Most of the star accessories and the rug above are from Perfect lovely interiors which I adore! I am yet to order anything but I have a list as long as my arm so watch this space ;)
I also need to find some nice storage for the girls toys, I'm thinking some tall drawer units either side of the TV so it doesn't necessarily look like toy storage but is still all hidden away and easy to tidy up.
I can't wait to get started!
