Shopmium app review!

I don't know what it is about groceries but going to get food and filling my fridge up makes me extremely happy. I find it so interesting watching what other people buy as well, which is why watching grocery hauls on YouTube is one of my favourite things to do.

What makes me even more happy is saving money when I do the food shop and that is why Shopmium is my new favourite app!

Shopmium is a fab app that offers different offers on various brands from your local stores. It's a great way to try new brands at great prices and is so easy and convenient to use.
Before you head out to do your shopping, checking the Shopmium app will let you know all the latest offers going and also which stores you can get them from which is so handy. I went to one of my local stores to have a look and grab a few bits so I could try the app out for you guys and give an honest review.

The app offers all kind of deals, not only on food items but also household items such as hair dye and hand soap. I picked up a good variety of things listed on the app.

At the time I signed up, they were offering a welcome gift of a free bar of green and black's so I couldn't pass that up!

The app works in a really simple way, you go and do your grocery shop as normal and you pay as normal.. the prices that the supermarket says. Then using the Shopmium app, you click on the offer you want to claim, scan the barcode of the item you bought and then send a photo of your receipt.

Shopmium will then process your cashback request and let you know when it's been approved. They will then refund the amount of money you are owed either to your PayPal or your bank account.

The process is really easy and simple and all my requests were accepted really quickly. Claiming all of my cash back got me back about £6 which is a good saving, I've also got to try a few new products that if I'm honest, I probably wouldn't have tried at full price. All the offers I bought except the popcorn and chocolate were items I haven't tried before so it was good to break out my comfort zone when it comes to the food shop.
