Beauty | #Whatsonmamasface 3

Urban Decay recently launched the Alice Through The Look Glass collection and l have been having a play around with it and loving it so far!

I always love UD's packaging but this eyeshadow palette is just one step further. The top opens up to reveal this 3d butterfly which just adds the whole element and fantasy of Alice in wonderland which I love. Who said make-up has to be grown up?!

The shadows themselves are brilliantly pigmented and a gorgeous formula as always and I love that there is a mix of colours. You'd totally expect some whacky colours being themed around Alice and that's exactly what you get, but with some neutrals and wearables thrown in too. It also comes with a double ended brush that works really well for applying and blending the shadows.

(Swatches from top to bottom; salazen grum, kingdom & mirror)

There are 5 lipsticks in the collection; Mirana, Iracebeth, Mad hatter, Time and Alice. Again, the packaging is bright and funky and matches the eyeshadow box.

Again, there is a mix of wearables and then some more whacky colours. Mad hatter and Time are a bit more out there, a bright purple and a blue, both in the metallized finish. They are gorgeous formulas and have amazing pigmentation but I personally wouldn't wear these colours.

The other 3 however, I would and have been wearing! Alice is a gorgeous nude but has a slight iridescence to it so when the light hits it, you see hints of purple. It's gorgeous and a little bit of a change from a typical nude. Iracebeth is a beautiful, vibrant blue toned red and has a matte finish so it looks really bold. For a night out, it is gorgeous! Mirana is a deep berry purple with some shimmer through it. This is a really nice vampy colour if you love to go for that look but still bright enough to not look too dark.

wearing Royal flush, Dormouse and Chronosphere on my lids and the Alice lipstick

wearing Reflection layered with looking glass and then Iracebeth on my lips (and fake tan) ;)

I've absolutely been loving this palette and it has encouraged me to start stepping out my comfort zone and trying new looks and colours so I've really been enjoying it!
