Even though the weather has been good in the UK recently, it hasn't stopped us from craving a really nice holiday abroad. There's nothing like being away from the home, with the sun, sea and sand! If it wasn't for the wedding in October, we'd definitely be booking our first family holiday ASAP!
We have been looking at booking a villa via http://www. thetopvillas.com after the wedding. We think a villa would just suit us best now that we have kids for a few different reasons.
The first is the cost. You can normally fit more than one family in a villa as they're quite big, meaning we could go with friends or family and split the cost which would work out cheaper in the long run.
I also love the space you get with a villa.. It can sometimes get overcrowded when you only have one family room for a whole week or 10 days so to have more space would be perfect!
Another thing that appeals to me is that is self catering. Sometimes, you're just not in the mood to go out and eat, especially with kids if they're tired and grumpy.. they won't behave well in a restaurant. It can also save your money if you're savvy, as eating out for every meal can add up so fast. Being able to cook your own food is a big bonus to us!
The last thing that appeals to me about a villa holiday is a bit more privacy, especially if you get one with a pool. Everything is yours to use, you don't have to share it with anyone else or fight over a sunbed.
Writing this post has just made me picture a gorgeous villa holiday in Spain... ahh I'm so desperate for one! Maybe next year ;)
