Baby shower gift guide!

babyshower

I'm not having a baby shower this time round although I know many pregnant woman do have them, so I thought I'd put together a little baby shower gift guide. I hope this is helpful if you are planning on having a baby shower and people have asked what you want/need or if you are buying for someone else's baby shower.

A baby book is such a lovely gift for mum to keep all he thoughts and feeling in as well as keeping track of baby's firsts. This one based on the brilliant 'Guess how much I love you' book is one of the cutest I have found so far and is perfect for either gender.

Sophie le giraffe is probably the ultimate baby teether so of course that makes the perfect present, it's a great option if you're really stuck on what to get as many mums swear by it and even if they end up with multiple ones it won't matter.. they'll probably be thankful to have a spare.

I feel like baby towels are a standard product to get for newborns.. they are so useful as you bath baby so much, you can never have too many. This gorgeous towel gift set is from Bathing bunnies and I love the adorable mouse theme of this one although they do have different animals to choose from. It's made up of a baby towel, bath mitt and bib and is made from 100% quality cotton terry towelling.. it's a practical gift but oh so cute!

Another gorgeous gift set is the Shea Mooti New mama & baby box, which is made up of the Baby's soothing bath soak, Baby's rub-a-bye body and scalp oil, Mama's take the rough with the smooth soothing bath soak and Mama's calming nipple balm. All the Shea Mooti products are natural and contain the purest, natural form of Shea butter that has been ethically sourced. They are great for pampering mother and baby without worrying about what is in them or how the skin will react.

Baby wearing is recommended by so many new mums and is something I want to really try this time so I have included a wrap. This is the Amawrap and is a fab choice because it supports the baby in the correct way with ergonomic positioning (making it comfortable for baby's hips), is easy to tie and pop baby in and is compact. One size also fits all so it's great if you aren't sure what size the person is  that you're buying for. I have the navy version of this and can't wait to use it.. I will do a full review when I have done for a few weeks.

As you know, we are big fans of the Gro company and in my eyes, no baby shower gift guide is complete without at least one of the Gro products. All the products they offer are amazing but I have specifically chosen the Gro-hush as white noise is something we swore by when Sienna was a newborn and so is something we are planning on using again. See more on the Gro-hush here.
