Review; Jergens Aloe Moisturiser*

Being an avid user of Jergens Skin Firming body moisturiser (it has a place in my heart and on my bedside table), i couldn't pass up the chance to review their New Aloe moisturiser, when they sent it to me last week.

For any skin, this product is a must but particularly an essential if you have dry, sensitive and/or reactive skin as it's a soothing formula. All of the Jergens body moisturisers have delicious scents and this one is no exception. The first thing i noticed was the gorgeous refreshing scent of cucumber that uplifts you instantly. The texture is that of a lotion, but still gives the body perfect moisturisation without leaving any greasy residue.

I applied this having just got out of a rather hot shower, this product claims that it 'instantly soothes, calms and refreshes' and this is exactly what it did. I applied it all over my body and instantly, it started refreshing my warm skin. I applied it to my legs that i had just shaved. Usually, my skin will come up quite red and blotchy and sting a lot if i have just shaved them and then use any kind of lotion/moisturiser on them. I was surprised to see no reaction at all with this, if anything it just refreshed them and calmed them down, all whilst moisturising them!

Overall, i love this moisturiser and definitely recommend it. It will certainly be a staple on my bedside table, next to my Skin firming moisturiser!

Jergens moisturisers are available from Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Sainsbury's, ASDA, Waitrose and Lloyd's pharmacy for around £4.99 for 200ml.

Well done Jergens, keep up the good work!

Also, why not take part in the Jergens Naturals Feeling Fantastic Skincare Experience!

Jergens have given away 2000 products and the idea is to get all these women
doing the skincare experience together. They will be monitoring their
progress through their Facebook tab.

As they come back each week and share results they'll also be collecting
data on how they feel, and looking at key areas of life including happiness,
finance and career. As a part of this they'll also be offering mini
incentives to users to help support their lives.

At the end they will create a huge survey about feeling fantastic and they'd
love to share all the lovely findings. Take part here!

Have you tried Jergens moisturisers? What's your favourite?

  1. I didn't try it and tbh the commercials on Lorraine (they sponsor it) made me think that it was more middle-age women oriented. I think they should upgrade for the younger generations... X
